The PEP (Partnership for Economic Policy) research consultants’ study visit at ERI was successfully completed.

Under the ISP project implemented by PEP, an annual study visit was successfully held between February 2nd and 7th at ERI. During this study visit, Professor Bernard Decaluwe and Dr. Lulit Mitik Beyene had the opportunity to work with researchers from ERI. Professor Decaluwe is a Full Professor at the University Laval in Québec, Canada and the Network Leader of Modeling and Policy Impact Analysis (MPIA) within the Poverty and Economic Policy Network (PEP). Dr. Lulit is a Managing Director and Co-founder of the Institute for Economic and Social Development Research, an Ethiopia-based private institution. She has been involved in the research and training activities of the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) since 2010. They have reviewed researches of the ISP project team of ERI and provided comments and recommendations. During the visit, they also presented some of their own research works to Mongolian government officials as well as the public.
